Parivartan President Romi Sharma paid tribute on the occasion of Mirpur Balidaan Diwas at Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, paying homage to the thousands who were martyred in 1947 by Kabailis and the Pakistani Army.
The solemn gathering remembered the unparalleled sacrifice of the people of Mirpur and the immense suffering endured by families who were forcibly uprooted from their ancestral homes.

Sh. Sat Sharma ji, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), and Sh. Vikram Randhawa ji, senior BJP leader from Jammu, also graced the occasion. A meaningful discussion was held on the historical injustices faced by the people of Jammu and the continuing pain of displaced families.

Remembering the martyrs and the uprooted families, the event reaffirmed the resolve to preserve their history, honor their sacrifice, and keep their memories alive for future generations. Their courage, resilience, and sacrifice continue to inspire the nation.
