Welcome to “PARIVARTAN (Change we need)” an NGO for art, Culture, education and upliftment of the under privileged and people in need. We feel privileged and proud to share with you the things that “PARIVARTAN” has been working on to achieve its goals and contribute to the society.

Parivartan was conceptualized and founded by Ms. Romi Sharma, an accomplished TV and theatre artist. Being an actress, a writer and a social activist, Romi as a founder member has been thoroughly connected with the underprivileged for last few years.

Why Parivartan

As the name suggests the Parivartan is for the little changes that can be brought in the life’sof poor, needy and underprivileged people.

Our Accomplishments

Workshops and events at various locations in Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi (Dwarka and North East Delhi) for the benefit of underprivileged people and children.
An awareness campaign for educating illiterate middle-aged women towards educating them regarding maintenance of personal hygiene, the use of sanitary napkins and informing them of the implications of living in unsanitary conditions such as, cervical cancer and other health-related issues.
Awareness campaigns to address the impoverished masses regarding the significance of education of all, protection of women’s rights and the government schemes for their benefit.
Assistance to tribal people by motivating them to send their children to schools and providing them help in securing admissions
Recently, Parivartan took under its wings the Computer Literacy programme for underprivileged children.
