Parivartan was conceptualized and founded by Ms. Romi Sharma, an accomplished TV and theatre artist. The founder, Mrs Romi Sharma, Started her journey as a child artist from Jammu and Grew up to an accomplished artist and has acted in 350 serials and tele films. She is also an avid writer, director and a philanthropist. Her writing includes a poetry book "wajah ho tum ". Her story book is to be published shortly. Along with the acting she has also completed her degree in journalism, B, Ed.
She has been actively involved in undertaking large number of activities for the upliftment of the underprivileged people. Her activities include from food and cloth distribution to assisting in bank accts, sanitation activities, free classes for poor etc.
The founder along with her team was actively involved in providing support and assistance to the victims of Delhi Riots in 2019.
During the Covid lock down she was on road with her team to provide basic necessities and all assistance to the migrants. Her efforts were appreciated by one and all.
All these activities have been carried out with a very meagre CSR funding. All the funds have been collected through donations of the volunteers and her own team.
Besides this she has been actively involved in reuniting separated families of poonchi parivar across the Loc who got separated in 1947 Partition. Till date 30 families have been reunited through Social Media.
For her good work she has been awarded with Lifetime achievement award for the contribution in the field of Art and culture,12th National Women's excellence award in 2019 in delhi,Sushma Swaraj Naari Gaurav Samman 2019,Maharaja Hari Singh Samman 2020,Superwoman 2020 along with other awards and accolades.
