J & K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages presented the Dogri play “SHAH–SHANI” on 15th November 2025 at Abhinav Theatre under its Weekly Theatre Series.
Presented by Parivartan Group, the play was directed by Romi Sharma and written by Sh. Rajneesh Gupta.

Based on the Partition of 1947, the play depicts the emotional separation of two childhood friends from different religions. Years later, during the Lahore–Delhi bus initiative of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, they meet again, revealing lifelong sacrifices and unspoken love.

The play was highly appreciated by the audience and received a standing ovation.
