Janmashtami Fest by Parivartan Showcases Children’s Talent
Parivartan, under the leadership of its President Romi Sharma, celebrated Janmashtami with joy and devotion among underprivileged children, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The event featured a series of engaging activities, including a Fancy Dress Competition, Matki Decoration, Dance and Bhajan performances, and Matki Drawing for younger children. All competitions were organised according to age groups, and winners were honoured with prizes to encourage their creativity and participation.
Children arrived dressed as Radha and Krishna, wearing colourful traditional attire and adorned with flutes and morpankh, adding a divine charm to the celebration. The beautifully decorated venue further enriched the festive mood and provided an immersive cultural experience.
President Romi Sharma shared her happiness at witnessing the children’s enthusiasm, talent, and confidence. She also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the volunteers — Madhu Modgil, Shalini Sharma, Geetanjali Rao Yadav, Shipra Shrivastav — along with young volunteers Neeharika Dixit, Balram Ray, Shailender, Aarti, Aman, Nandini, Armaan, Aarav Dixit, Harshil Raina, Peehu, and Santu Karmakar for their significant contribution in making the celebration a success.
The celebration reflected Parivartan’s commitment to nurturing culture, creativity, and joy among children from underserved communities.
